3. Your first customers
Where to put your name and your link.
- Google Business Profile first. Set your service area, post before-and-after photos from every job, with the owner's OK, and ask every customer for a review the day you finish.
- Nextdoor and the street you're on. Once you're doing one house, offer the neighbors the same day at a small discount.
- Door hangers with a before-and-after photo, used with the owner's OK, on the houses around a finished job.
- Real estate agents, property managers and painters. Pre-listing cleans and paint prep are the usual jobs from them.
- Local niches: in warm-weather markets that's pool cages and lanais and paver sealing; everywhere, HOA and small commercial flatwork and fleet washing.
4. Quoting and getting paid on site
Send the quote while you're still in the driveway. Write down what you saw, so the price makes sense to them, ask for a deposit on the big jobs, and take the card before you roll up the hose.
Card payments run through Stripe; its standard fees apply.
